Fine Art Photography
What do I do?:
I focus on animal portraiture, mainly family pets and birds of prey, but also landscapes given that I live in such a beautiful area. I am based near the village of Inverkip on the west coast of Scotland.
With regard to my animal photography / digital artwork, I aim to create portraits that can be hung in a clients home.
I am especially interested in creating portraits for those who have lost a pet, (working from your own photographs) with the hope that this helps one heal from what we know can be such a great loss. Of course, I can still create fine art pieces from your photographs if you haven't lost your pet, you needn't schedule a portrait session with me, for instance - if you live in another part of the world, I can simply use your own photograph instead, if you have a favourite photo that you think may be suitable, contact me for more details.
Please contact me for more information if you or a loved one has recently lost a beloved pet and would like my help in creating a Fine Art Portrait for your home.
I can also create greetings cards, framed prints, canvas etc. from my work.
This path has been bolstered not only by my love, and sometimes loss, of my own animals, but by many years of volunteering at an equine rescue & therapy centre in Texas (www.ThrowawayPonies.org), working with dog & cat rescues and also with my planned involvement with various raptor charities / facilities / rescues due to my love of birds of prey. As a member of the RSPB I am keen on watching and photographing birds and wildlife also.
As for photography itself, I've had a passion for it since I was probably six years old thanks to an uncle who was a keen amateur photographer.
I would later embark on, and gain, a BTEC ND in Professional Photography, furthering what had been my childhood hobby, whilst studying as a mature student. I also love art, and creating mixed media works.
Achieving a Triple Distinction profile and winning both Art & Design Student of the Year and College Student of the Year upon completion of my course, was a particular highlight for me.
I am now considering embarking on either a BA (Hons) Photography degree or perhaps a BA (hons) in Fine Art with the hopes of broadening my knowledge and skills in those areas.
I have been lucky enough to have a selection of my images printed in several international magazines and local newspapers and I have enjoyed having a variety of gallery prints exhibited both here in the UK and in the USA.
Various images are available to purchase and prices can be obtained on my Facebook Business page (Sue Fulton - Photography and Fine Art), but feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
I hope that you may stop by again soon to see whats new, and thank you so much for visiting my site.
